The President of Orlen Neptun, Janusz Bil, and one of its board members, Wojciech Matuszek, have been dismissed from their positions on the management board. The portal WNP reported on the changes, and the Orlen press office confirmed the reports.

The changes in the management board of Orlen Neptun, the company responsible for the development of offshore wind energy in Poland, are unexpected, with no prior indications of such a possibility. Just a few days prior, President Janusz Bil, on behalf of the company, had signed a letter of intent with the Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority. The document concerns the expansion of the installation terminal infrastructure for offshore wind investments in the Baltic Sea—a facility that already serves not only the Orlen Group’s projects but also external operators from Poland and abroad.

Changes in the management board of Orlen Neptun. The President has been dismissed
According to unofficial information obtained by the WNP portal from two independent sources, as of June 11, the President of Orlen Neptun, Janusz Bil, and a board member, Wojciech Matuszek, lost their positions. The reports were confirmed by the Orlen press office. „We confirm that as of June 11 this year, Mr. Janusz Bil and Mr. Wojciech Matuszek have been dismissed from their positions as members of the Orlen Neptun management board. New board members will be selected through a competitive process”—it was stated in response to WNP’s inquiry. The reasons for the dismissal were not provided.
Janusz Bil had been leading Orlen Neptun since June 2024, and Wojciech Matuszek joined the company’s management board in the autumn of 2025, coming from the Orlen Group, where he served as Executive Director for Energy. Both names have already disappeared from the Orlen Neptun website. In the Company Management section, only Joanna Sasak remains, responsible for financial matters on the board.
