The model of selling dishes directly to cars has enjoyed considerable popularity in Poland for years. However, the Popeyes chain has decided to introduce a significant innovation — orders are delivered in cups, rather than traditional bags. Company representatives explain this move.
Until now, drinks were sold in cups. Now at Popeyes, this will apply to other dishes — chicken, fries, and even sauces. Where did this solution come from?
„Every motorized food lover on the go has faced the challenge of opening paper bags, balancing boxes on their laps, and searching for a safe place for sauce. Popeyes has decided to resolve these travel dilemmas,” explain the company’s representatives.

„Chicken in a Cup”
„Instead of traditional boxes, we’ve enclosed the entire meal in cups that fit perfectly into car cup holders. This makes snacking in the car completely stress-free, safe for upholstery, and maximally comfortable. No other brand in Poland serves meals this way,” says Kamila Węcka, Marketing Manager of Popeyes Poland. The chain calls this solution „Chicken in da Cup.”
The price of such a set is just under PLN 50 — add the chain’s representatives.
The American chain Popeyes debuted in Poland in the summer of 2023. At that time, a location was opened in Wrocław.
